Annualy at the Henry County Dog Pound, dogs are shot instead of euthanization. But it is not just a brutal shot to the head... Because of Mike Crowe\'e filming of the dog massacre\'s taking place, it has been made public the suffering the dogs have to go through before they are loaded on a bulldozer on top of a pile of other dogs. The county\'s excuse is: bullets are cheap costing about 2 cents each versus the 80 cents euthanization costs and how much it would be to certify the shelter for being able to keep the drugs. Each signature makes a difference, save these animals. This petition will be sent to the State of Kentucky some time this year or when the petition has an adequete number of signatures. Thank you, and you can make a difference.
I read every single comment you guys leave and honestly the stories about how these dogs are being treated just keep me up at night wondering how anyone can justify a few cents over a life. I am currently trying to get someone at the state office to even just answer my email which has been a total nightmare because nobody wants to talk about those bulldozers. Please keep looking at those accounts of what is happening because we cannot just look away now that the truth is out there.

I never thought so many people would actually care about the horror in Henry County but here we are and it makes me feel like maybe things really can change. It is honestly overwhelming to see this momentum building because for a long time I felt like I was shouting into a void about these dogs.

Cant believe this is legal in 2014. My heart breaks for them dogs. RIP to all the ones who suffered because of a few pennies.

This is completely heartless. Those poor dogs deserve way better than that. Please stop this now.
