We, the People, find that a 9 year prison sentence for three "driving on revokes" in Woodford County Illinois far exceeds the severity of the crime committed. This happened with no DUI conviction involved - noone was injured - etc. I, by providing my signature, feel that this length of wasted years in prison far exceeds the necessary punishment for a non-violent crime. This is costing the People of Illinois in unnecessary support of both the individual and the family he left behind, as well as loss of taxes being paid at time of incarceration by the man's well-paying job. He was the sole support for his wife and three granddaughters who miss him very much!
