We would like to appeal on the new KGNS Rules pertaining to play on Kelana Course on Weekends and Public Holidays. We hope that Kelana Course can be maintained as before this new ruling.
We are very happy with the Club and used to boast that KGNS is the best club in Malaysia. Just drive to the club, parked your car and you can play. Everyone can play. Can never find a club like KGNS. That is the beauty and the positive side is we mixed freely among us. While golfing we get to know each other too. Some of us who are still working joined the club just because of this too. Just walked in and the starter will pair us up. Happy.
To those who believe that we should maintained as before please join this petition. Kenny Lim is away until 31st October 2024. We will decide upon his return on our next step on who will be the representatives among us to have a dialogue with the MC. Happy people will find a solution together.

I have been reading the reflections left by many of you regarding our shared history at the club. The sentiment about the ease of walking on to the course highlights exactly what makes this community special. We are currently preparing our notes for the upcoming dialogue with the management committee to ensure these concerns are clearly understood.

It is encouraging to see our shared desire to preserve the accessibility that defines the Kelana Course experience. Park and Play Connecting People! Introduction Night in welcoming new members is a unique KGNS tradition. Likewise, for the Kelana course traditional rules.
As a member of 25 years, I am totally disappointed with what has happened. I fully support this petition.
Kelana enabling even 1 ball at discretion of starters is a differentiator amongst clubs and unique. Encourages pairings and getting to know your fellow members.
Have a heart for physical handicap golfers. Buggy are designed to be used on. Fairways
We told them this and asked them to study Kelana situation. Very little cross over for 18 holes. Many are playing 6 holes or 9 holes only in the morning and after 9am usually empty. So why the new ruling of no tee off initially except official tee off times and also no 2 players or less. A lot of noise from this decision initially where no tee off even the course is empty
I support this motion and volunteer to be part of the discussion/negotiating team to champion this cause.

If it works, why change? Course control in Kelana course has been in place for some 10+ yrs. We're there any complaints. I would love to hear how many, if any.
