The stops signs work perfectly and the ONLY reason to replace them is to use the failed Marxist (Democrat) policy of trying to create jobs by burdening residents with higher taxes. Jobs are created through individual initiative, whether corporate, small business or cottage industry, NOT through the strong arm tactics of Socialist political ideologues!

If you put in an overhead stop light, I will not be able to get out of my driveway and then my life will be in jeopardy. Why fix something that is already working? Do not take down the 4-Way Stop signs!

Traffic light will prevent accidents by removing the confusion about who goes next. Very few people understand the rules.

Since these stop signs were out in place it's been a safer road. People come barreling down those hills without them. I guarantee they have prevented numerous accidents. They need to stay!

I'm 23 years old and I've been traveling 896/841 since I was 3 when my grandparents moved to Oxford. (I'm from Newark de) -- the 4 way stop & stop signs at den road have solved all issues at that interaction. Wasting money on traffic lights and widening the road is almost idiotic. I live in Oxford w my grandparents now and work in Newark and travel this road everyday. Spend the money fixing the potholes and maybe repaving parts of the road. It's been a bumpy ride post winter 2013/2014

I use 896 morning and night 841/896 intersection used to be extremely dangerous before the stop signs. The stop at Duncan southbound 896 stops vehicles in plain sight preventing rear end collisions at 841/896. This is now a safe commute, it works, all dangerous issues have been removed with this system, please do not change it.

This 4 way stop sign at 841 is the perfect set up. The stop sign at Duncan stops traffic at the top of the hill southbound 896 in plain view removing the risk of being rear ended by vehichles crowning the hill at a high rate of speed.
