With no designated turn lanes and left turn signal, traffic will back up badly especially when the first car in line can't turn on a green light because of opposite side traffic.Worse yet is a scenariop when this first car in line tries to make a left turn by jumping a green light and causing a collision with a car taking off fast on the opposite side green light. This intersection will become a nightmare with a traffic light and inadequate left turn lanes/signals.

Just another example of complete government waste of your hard earned tax dollar. Rather than waste tax dollars on traffic lights, how about re-paving 896? Or at least fill in all of the pot holes!

The light would even be more dangerous than the current stop signs. A red light would back up traffic and those coming over the hills from the south would not see the back up. The stop lights will cause more injuries than the current stops signs.

Traffic lights will increase the speed on the intersection and increase the danger there. The stop signs are doing a great job of controling traffic.

I strongly oppose a red light at the intersection of 841 & 896. I live on Den road and I fear we will be in danger just trying to get off Den road and on to 896. The light will back up traffic and we will be stuck!

Everyone taking turns at a stop sign is more safe than motorist racing to beat the light

The new stop signs work while still keeping the road rural. Putting up lights will negatively change our rural landsacape.

The signs have worked well to solve the problem, leave them alone! Use the money for the stop light to repave 896!!!

My husband and I along with out 19 year old, travel this road constantly. Prior to the stop signs this was an extremely dangerous stretch of road. We got to the point where we were taking an alternate route for our own safety. We have lived in the area for 21 years. Leave the stop signs for everyone's sake.
