Keep the Nature Trail Natural
To Whom It May Concern: We, the undersigned, oppose ITC’s proposal to run a high voltage electric transmission line along the Cedar Valley Nature Trail. We oppose this project because power lines of this size: 1. Will destroy the natural beauty of the nature trail. 2. Cause noise pollution. 3. Require significantly large poles (and possibly foundation platforms) which present safety hazards for people using the nature trail. 4. Have the potential to cause long-term effects on the health of people using and living along the nature trail. In short, we believe erecting 161 kilovolt electric transmission lines along the Cedar Valley Nature trail is inconsistent with what a nature trail should be – a safe, healthy and pleasant environment designed for public enjoyment.
