On Saturday, July 25, 2009 parents around Houston received letters notifying them that their children will not be able to receive transportation to and from school if they live withing 2 miles of their school, making this entirely the parents responsibility. Most parents have to work and an 8:45 am start time and 3:45 pm dismissal is just not feasible for parents working around Houston. There are (just within our neighborhood alone) 39 registered sex offenders within this same 2 miles from the school. Please sign and help us get our children to school and home and STAY SAFE!
