This absolutely breaks my heart! My band wouldn't be where it is today if not for That British Place Rehearsal Studios! <3 Santa Monica needs this!

Gaz and Zoe of That British Place offer an essential service to folks on the West Side... local reharsal space. They're very good with customers (I am one) and are super clear about patrons being good to the neighborhood. Please help them stay.

I have known Zoe a long time and anyone should be honoured to lease premises to her and Gaz, they work so hard to help others and try to achieve their dream. I would love to live and work in LA one day so please show me (another British person) that Americans can be generous.

Beautiful hard working couple who have made music their life. I'm praying that their landlord opens up their heart and allows them to share the wealth of knowledge they have with the Los Angeles community. May God bless you both.

I traveled from San Francisco and used the British Place for rehearsal. They were very nice to me and I would like to rehearse there again.

I went to LA and Gaz really looked after me. I went to That British Place (which they've had for years) and it's clear it was a well respected local industry. Please sign this petition.

I have known Gaz for nearly 25 years, through high school and after. In all this time I have known him he has been a honest and hardworking individual who has always had a love for music. I have seen how hard he and Zoe have worked to make this business a success, and provide a service for young and aspiring musicians, it would a terrible injustice if they were forced out. Please keep That British Place open.

Gaz and Zoe are wonderful people who are genuinely making a new life and following their dreams with this business. I wish them the best of luck and fortune.

I've seen this kind of thing happen a lot to venues in the UK, but I'm a little surprised and saddened that it's happening to a creative musical hub in the US.
That British Place not only provide incredible services to musicians, but the owners go out of their way to accommodate international touring musicians with out-of-hours facilities, contacts, session musicians, places to stay, and all manner of other things which make it possible to tour.
They are a very rare gem in the music industry, and I'd hope the music press could get behind this.
It would be a sad loss indeed.

I value this wonderful, well run, cleanly maintained top notch rehearsal Studio. I have been rehearsing there for over 7 years.

These are brits who don't want to exit! I've known them to be nothing but lovely people, and the Westside needs their services.

These are good people, running The British studio. Please investigate the new tenants insidious attempts to take over their business and give them a fair chance to keep their business open.

This is unfair. They have been there for years, providing a necessary space for local musicians.
