This petition is on the basis that I support Tara Brabazon staying in the UK and being able to continue the fabulous job she does within the University of Brighton. Tara is not only a unique, irreplaceable and devoted lecturer but is indisputably the friendliest and most welcoming person you could ever meet. She gives all students the support they need, not only from an educational point of view but of a personal one too, where she offers advice and an understanding ear to anyone in need. If there is one lecturer that has managed to encourage students to stay at university, to find their studies enjoyable and not just informative, to be inspired, and has given the encouragement they need to feel that they can actually do something with their lives..... it\'s Tara Brabazon! In a world where it is a constant battle to feel individual, creative and valued....... Tara reminds all of us from the quiet, intellectual one in the back to the loud yet self-doubting one in the front, that we all have a voice and we all have a worthy opinion. Losing Tara would be like losing the motivation and drive that so many of us need to feel praiseworthy and functional on a course and inevitably in an industry where people crave treatment like this just to get through the day. We are blessed to be taught by Tara, it would not only be a shame but a huge loss if such an inspirational and innovative woman was to be taken away from us.
