Rick is a wonderful crossing guard! He’s always looking out for EVERYONE while keeping our kids safe and enforcing the rules. No one will be able to fill his shoes and moving him is a huge mistake!

Rick has always shown professionalism while doing his job - which might include stopping vehicles or redirecting traffic to keep our pedestrians safe (which should always be his first priority). Rick understands how to best alleviate traffic at the entrance while keeping our kids safe. Please reconsider keeping Rick (valued crossing guard) where he is!!
His position is one of the most stressful intersections and he does a beautiful job of keeping his cool.

Please consider keeping Rick at the front entrance to French. He is trained and experienced and has demonstrated a long history of keeping the intersection safe.

I am writing to express my extreme gratitude and appreciation for our crossing guard, Rick. Every day when I see him, I want to roll down my window and thank him or stop and shake his hand. He shows such professionalism, diligence and care in his job as crossing guard. I have profound trust in him to ensure our kids’ safety based on how I’ve watched his performance these past two years. I would like to respectfully express my sincere request for there to be a reconsideration for his release as our crossing guard. He’s such a valuable asset to our little community.
I would also like to add that I would hope his outstanding performance and dedication should outweigh the decision to dismiss him based on an alleged altercation with a parent over what seems to be Mr. Rick keeping our children safe and putting that first.

Ridiculous he needs to be where is has been for all these years! I can’t imagine what it will look like with both of the men out there on the most dangerous intersections getting to and from school.
