We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Lehi City reinstate a school resource officer to Lehi Junior High and Willow Creek Middle School in order to maintain a more safe and secure learning environment for our children. We understand that these are uncertain economic times and that some budget cuts may be necessary. However, services provided by the city that affect the safety and welfare of its residents, especially services designed to help protect our children, should be kept as a top priority and should not be cut.
