I was just rereading some of the things you all wrote in the comments and it hit me how much everyone genuinely worries about what happens in the hallways every single day. I am trying to get a sit-down with someone at the district office (which is proving to be a much longer game than I initially thought) because they need to understand that this isn't just some abstract budget preference for us.

Seeing this take off like this is honestly just wild and I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that there are so many people who feel exactly the same way I do about our schools. It makes me feel less lonely in this fight even though I definitely did not think anyone would notice this petition when I first typed it out at my kitchen table.
