The gate is the best think I love about our home. It gives a feeling of security and easy access to parking for residents.

Please keep our gates. Makes our access to parking easy. It is sometime difficult for residents to get a bay to park as we don't have sufficient ones for Watson close residents. Life will be made more difficult for us to find a parking space after a busy day and there is security risk too as you would be exposing us to criminals in the public that will have access to the car park, break in into cars and gain entry into our building due to frequent faulty main entrance doors.

I'm one of the first tenants and witnessed the difference of when there was public access to the car park and when not. People then used to drive in and hang in the carpark, bringing in prostitutes and drug users and they easily gained access to the stairs when our doors are mistakenly left unlock. The building is more secure with tenants only having access to the carpark. My grandchildren and other young ones play downstairs and sometimes may run around in the car park. Giving access to public parking increases the chance of them being run down by a car. we on Watson close know each other and are responsible people. Do not give access of our premises to hoodlums. The residents only carpark is one of the very good benefits we enjoy with our homes. I think making it a pay access to the public will amount to exploitation by hackney council. Please leave our gates alone.

I don't agree with the plans to remove our gate to the care park. I feel the flowerbeds should be removed so the children have a safe play area. One child that I know of has already fallen on the flowerbed frame and hurt himself. Safety is an issue as the main door is sometimes left open and the lighting on the stair way is always faulty.

I am the resident directly across from the carpark. I am already the person most affected by having a car park their and changing to an open access permit parking is grossly unjust. There is already chaos from school runs in both afternoon and evening. I am the one who was faced with hostility from drivers when there was no gate. The entrance is constantly blocked by cars and that will only get worst.

Please leave our gates for security and safety of our homes and our children who play downstairs in the communal area close to the car park. This gates are part of what we enjoy and made us fall in love with our homes. It makes Watson close quite safe for us and our families than when any member of the public can just stray in all in the name of making money for hackney. Furthermore, no consultation letter was received from hackney homes in this regard. Keep our gates to make our homes safe for us our families and our community.
