We, the parents/guardians/teachers of Krieger Elementary students, petition the Poughkeepsie City School District Board of Education to keep Ms. Margaret Pineiro on as principal of G.W. Krieger Elementary school. Over the last three years, Krieger has had 4 principals. Our children, our faculty, and our staff need continuity and consistency. We need a principal in place for more than a year or two at a time. Changing the leadership at our school, or any school, has a negative impact on EVERYONE. We demand that the Board of Education and the administration of PCSD leave Ms. Margaret Pineiro in the position of principal at G. W. Krieger Elementary School.
