The football team would not be where they are right now if it wasn't for coach metzger the guys love him and he cares about them equally in return!

We need to keep Chris. He has been a blessing to Pinecrest and the community. He has a value to the students at Pinecrest that is immeasurable, not only to athletes It would be a great loss if he were to be dismissed. Don't let him go!!!!!!

What madness would Induce you to get rid of the best thing that's happened to local sports in the last thirty years? This is a minor administrative issue that the NCHSAA was way too heavy handed on.

Best coach ever!

Coach needs to stay! He's an amazing person! A true leader!

Coach Metzger has done a lot of great things over the last several years. Everyone makes mistakes accidental or otherwise and no one is perfect. They should weigh all of the good he has done for the football team and not take these drastic over the top measures.

I taught at WPMS and saw a huge difference in students who worked before school with Coach Metzger. Keep him with certain controls in place.

Let him get back to work for the community.

Coach Metzger is a leader and mentor with a vested interest in these young men!

Coach Metzger has changed Pinecrest High School, our community and the lives of many, many student atheletes for the BETTER!! Some of these kids would never have had a chance to go to college. He is a man of integrity. STOP this nonsense! We were part of Pinecrest football 2 years before and 2 years with Coach Metzger. My son went on to play football at Wake Forest University and my daughter ran cross county and track at NC State. Not only does Coach Metzger prepare atheletes for division one schools, he prepares them for life. Whenever I see football players around town, I engage them in conversation. These young men look you in the eye while shaking your hand. Once again, STOP this nonsense!

I have been associated with youth football and the Coach's spring and summer camps. He epitomizes class and responsibility. His efforts have benefited athletes on and off the field. I know of no person who has met or interacted with Coach Metzger that doesn't love him. This is not an instance of " big money" athletics gone bad. Stop the HATERS and keep Coach Metzger

Coach Metzger has been a awesome addition to the Pinecrest Athletic Program and the community. He is top notch!

They already said that they didn't need the coaches signature so why fire him. We teach our kids if they make mistake .learn from it and make it right. But the way you doing you punishing our kids .Let our kids play ...

Coach Metzger is an asset as football coach at PHS.... Let's keep this awesome leader!
