Our family loves Coach Metzger. We couldn't think of a finer man for our son to play football under.

I was an assistant on Coach Metzgers staff for 5 years. In the picture at the top of the group it shows me standing behind him which I continue to do just in different colors. Chris has impacted countless people during his time at Pinecrest and I am thankful to have been a part of it. He is a great friend of honor, loyalty, caring, and has a tremendous work ethic that I am proud to be associated with not to mention a heck of a ball coach. Coach Antwon Murchison Coach Jason Sparks and I always joked about having each others back.... And I know Chris doesn't have Facebook but I got your back coach! Letting Chris leave will be the worst decision Moore County Schools could possibly make.

He is the reason we still have a football program at Pinecrest, and a huge reason why I am able to play football in college. He has also helped shaped me into the man I am, and to rob any other young child of the opportunity to be mentored by him is an utter shame.

I support Coach Metzger and his program 100%. Pinecrest will never be able to replace a man of his caliber. DO NOT let this happen.

None of my children attend any of the Moore County Schools, however; I have heard nothing but incredible things about Coach Metzger. He has worked with one of my nephews and he's done amazing things for his game! To remove him from this position would be a disservice to the parents, students and athletes of Pinecrest High School.

One of the best decisions that Pinecrest has made was to bring him on as the Coach.

Coach Metzger is the best coach that we could ever have. He loves us players and every day works to make us better men. He supplies a father figure to many players who don't have that at home and I (and the rest of the football program) are blessed to have someone like him as a coach and role model.

The best thing to happen to PC athletics in over a decade. Coach Metzger has been a fantastic asset to the PC football team and not only that but a mentor, friend and parent to these boys, loosing him would almost certainly be the demise of the football team and the moral and spirit of the team. The football players have been punished enough, show these kids that they can learn a lesson from this and come back stronger next year. Don't punish them anymore.

Firing him is redicous. He has done great things for the students and the school!!! He found the discrepancy, he reported it. Yet they want to fire him??? Fire the committee!!
