Least Kroger could do is give all their employees good references for Wegmans--not that this will keep food on the Kroger folks' tables while they wait for Wegmans to start hiring, but....!

sorry it is closing - offering jobs to the stores that become Harris Teeter wold be the fair thing to do and viewed positively by the community.

I live in the neighborhood and am gluten-free (not by choice). I shop at this location all the time as it has my food choices in its own section right at the front of the store. It is very convenient and there’s more products available than most grocery stores. Lastly, we don’t really have another grocery store nearby our neighborhood (5-points, Whitaker mill). The other options are the mini Harris teeter on oberlin, Trader Joe’s, and driving further down wake forest road until the food lion. None of these options offer the variety that Kroger does.

As a long time Kroger shopper (20+ years at the Six Forks location), I simply do not understand why this store will be closed. The pharmacy has outstanding staff & I do not want to go elsewhere. The grocery staff/cashiers/baggers/floor staff/customerservice have always been very helpful, above & beyond other grocery stores. These staff members will have to (hopefully) find a job elsewhere, which is very sad. Please just keep it open!

Kroger should not be leaving the Triangle area. This is a bad business decision that will have repercussions for the company as a whole.

This grocery store location needs to stay open. The people that work there depend on it for their livelihood. It is such a central location for so many people to shop there.

I always shop the Kroger store at Creekside Crossing. It has wonderful produce and the meat and seafood department is spot on. I choose this store over others closer to the house.

Love the fresh veggies and reasonable prices (compared to competitors). Despite its small size, the flower department always delivers. I also love the food prep equipment and nice, quality decorative serve ware. I’ve bought a couple of nice bowl and plate sets over the years. It’s the only grocery that carries this awesome department. Lest I forget, the employees are always helpful and friendly. They remember regular customers and greet them by name. Please keep Six Forks Kroger open.
