Wish I could sign but live in New Mexico now. I'm a former employee and no one else in the area can do what River Bluff does as far as financially taking care of their residents. Don't the residents of Winnebago County deserve care and dignity in their later years? Sure don't know where this county chairman is coming from.

As a native of Rockford and Winnebago County who has resided in this community the whole 61 years of my life and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has practiced for the past 30 years in this community, I ask that Winnebago not sell River Bluff Nursing Home. I have worked in hospice for 15 years and have been in and out of very public and privately funded nursing home in this county over the years. Not one publicly funded NH holds a candle to quality of care River Bluff. Please do not sell it.

I am a former employee. I loved my job st river bluff. I treated the residents as if they were my own grandma and grandpa. I have memories from my residents that will forever stay with me! Please keep this facility open. My only recommendation is to hire in more staff! But other than that I loved my job there. :)

My great grandma spent her last few years here. This was a place for us to play games, drink hot chocolate, and share stories. The nurses treated us like family as well! Though I haven't been there in six years, I really hope the place stays as beautiful as it was.

The elderly in this town who little money need some place to go if you sell where are they to go think about that look into your heart and say no to selling this from them.

River Bluff is one of the few fairly decent nursing homes in the Rockford area. It needs to remain under the control of the County, not sold to a profit making organization. Doesn't work with the prisons, won't work here either.

Keep this nursing open !!! It's a great place with a great staff and awesome atmosphere!! I know a few people that were and are there that really enjoy the company and care they receive!!!!

Do not sell. Where are all those people supposed to live without a county home. Most have no family or money. Have a heart. They worked all their lives and this is how we treat them.
