Fellow Americans It is our time to take BACK our government. Through a referendum on the ballot ticket, we must put one main proposal on each ballot ticket throughout the US. That proposal should read something like this: If elected lawmakers (Congress/House of Rep.) are stagnate; or their is a stale mate as presently going on; or no laws are being passed or no real work is being done, that lawmaker is NOT doing the job of the people, for the people, but working for his/her political party's agenda. That lawmaker should: (1)work for no pay,(2)resign, or (3)be fired. Also lawmakers being public figures should be held more accountable for their wrong doings. They choose to be a public figures and should walk that straight line. If they choose to put their own welfare before the public, we should throw the book at lawmakers just as lawmakers threw the the book at "crackheads". For people who don't understand the previous statement, allow me to elaborate. By law if one is arrested with a suitcase of powder cocaine, that person would only receive a slap on the wrist. If one is arrested with one piece of crack, this person would receive more time than the person with the suitcase of powder cocaine. If you don't believe me ask Thomas Ravenal of SC. If a lawmaker is guilty of breaking the law, penalties should be very harsh for lawmakers just as lawmakers set for "crackheads". *Also our voting procedure is flawed. There should be some type of paper trail for recounting purposes.
