Anybody who has ever had any interactions with the tech school, and more specifically the gifted program, knows how much good this program does. From college prep, to student involvement in tech organizations such as FIRST robotics, it is always benefitting the students and community. This would not only affect the future gifted students, but also the current ones who want to remain involved with FIRST robotics team 34

I say keep it where it is at the Tech School. It doesn't costs any extra to bus the students there as the busses are already going there anyway. In fact, to put a gifted teacher in every school would be more costly. The Students benefit from these classes at the Tech School and the system
Is in place. if it isn't broken, why try to fix it?

I think having gifted at the Limestone County Career Technical Center, has made the students better understand curriculum, and had help them get more involved, with the school. Such as being on the Robotics Team, will help them better in there future.

As I see it, this is the 1st step to completely doing away with Gifted. Since our Leaders are always trying to do the minimum, they will move the gifted to the individual schools and then the leaders will come back and say there aren't enough in this school so we will cancel the program for that school.
Gifted at the Tech School also benefits the Children by putting them with a group of Others they have never met and asking them to work with each other and be successful. As opposed to at they're school where they probably grew up knowing everyone.
Keep it where it is, and improve on that. Let's maximize potential as opposed to trying to always meet the minimal standards.

The gifted program is a very valuable asset to further progress gifted children in a better manner than in a regular school.

I belive this program give younger children amazing benefits. I also belive that this give everyone more of an oppuratunity to learn and opens eyes for young learners. The teachers are amazing at what they do and they children deserve this oppurtunity.

The gifted program has challenged me mentally in ways I never thought possible. Myself and many other students have benefited majorly from the gifted program. Personally the gifted program made me feel more confident in my academic abilities. The program has been a major part of my academic career since I joined in 5th grade. Now a freshman I enjoy going to gifted more than ever. Getting rid of the program would affect me and many other students greatly.

The gifted program is the most unique school program I've ever been a part of. I've been going since fifth grade (now in ninth). It has always promoted creativity and individuality and it has challenged me as well as many others in ways we never would have experienced at school otherwise. To get rid of the gifted program would be to rob the future students of Limestone County of countless opportunities and friendships.

Gifted shouldn't be done away with. I've learned a lot in gifted. It hasn't interfered with my advanced classes.

Okay, I would like to state that gifted classes for highschoolers gets us away from the normal routine and allows our gifted mind to recuperate itself.

This program is amazing just as it is. To change its range and scope by moving it to the home school would be detrimental to the program as a whole. Other school systems model their programs after ours because of how successful it is.

Keep the program at the tech center. They have the facilities and teachers best equipped to provide a quality learning environment.
