I am opposed to the plan to change the parcel of land close to Highway 35 on Hanley from General Business to industrial.
Some of the concerns include:
ULine plans to build the largest industrial building developed in the Twin Cities in
the past 20 years. This is not the type of building plan we want close to our
neighborhood homes, where we live and play.
The planned 1.03 million square foot building is expected to have 82 loading docks. ULine's plan to include this number of loading docks illustrates the intended nature of their plans - significant daily traffic of semi trucks coming and going, breaking, idling, and a very negative impact of air and noise pollution to our neighborhood.
Please VOTE "NO" to the proposed plan to rezone the parcel of land in question from Commercial use to Industrial. This is too close to our homes, where we are invested in the community, and was not the intended plan when we chose to move our homes to Hudson, WI.
