If this new inferior ball sticks around, I may just quit the sport... it's so poor!

The plastic ball takes the fun out of table tennis, and this is just to much!

There have been too many changes!!
We cannot play to 21 anymore, the ball size has been changed once already. We are loosing the essence of the game.
No more changes please!!! No plastic balls thank you.

No need for this change - except to profit the manufacturers and suppliers. Sheets of rubber are already overpriced!

I've tried the new plastic ball and it sounds cracked when you play with it. It does last long before the ball breaks. Why change when we have a wonderful product that works well. Unless the alternative is better which in this case isn't. Against the change

Plainly just commercial interests!
Shame on you ITTF, and English TT Association for doing nothing in support of the players of the sport.

more changes again and still table tennis has not become more popular to play than other sports even after the promotions about the game with Ping last year around the UK, more clubs are struggling to find premises to play every year.

I do not want to play a kind of tennis without spin, I do not want to change rubbers or blades because of the new ball, I do not see any proper reason to do that.

Change for the worse is all I can see here. Substituting a ball with inferior playing characteristics makes absolutely no sense.

Just found this opportunity to object to the new ball ruling .. cannot see any reason to change from the existing celluloid ball AND APPARENTLY NEITHER CAN ANYBODY ELSE!! Since this country doesn't seem to produce any world champion players these days (since the days of the Late (Great) Johnny Leach and the like) why don't we in the UK (or England) just continue to play with the existing celluloid ball thus utilising the vast stocks of these table tennis balls that presumably will be deemed obsolete!! .. to be rubbished at cost to the manufacturers and environment etc. Our country still believes that it is a world power (we seem to get involved in most worldly affairs incl wars) so lets show our teeth on this one. Sorry I didn't hear about this protest earlier !! Ray

The sport is fine the way it is. The primary interest in the sport is the speed/spin and the skill it takes to be competitive in such a exciting sport.
We need more coverage and money behind this sport to make it more popular.
You don't see so many major changes to ball and equipment in other sports like Tennis.
Consistency in any sport requires practice. How can a player become proficient in a sport that keeps changing the equipment?
Keep the current Celluloid ball period.
The new plastic ball sucks!
DO NOT CHANG THE BALL. NO PLASTIC BALLS!
Keep existing celluloid table tennis ball!!!
