As most of you know, the Thames Valley District School Board has made a change in the board policies, and they will not allow any cheer teams within the school board to compete in any competitions where a waiver form must be signed to enter the competition because the board does not agree with some of the things in Cheer Alliance's waiver.

This means our teams will be unable to compete in any Cheer Alliance competitions, who host the regional and national cheerleading events.

HOWEVER, if Cheer Alliance changes some of the wording in their waiver and comes to an agreement with the TVDSB on this, we still have a fighting chance to once again compete at nationals.  
So please, sign this petition and convince Cheer Alliance to work with us and to let us cheer once again! We have a very strong student body backing us up, so friends, family, and fellow teammates, please sign this petition to get the cheerleading spirit back into our lives!
