As a regular dog walker at Camerons Bight I have never seen bad behaviour by either dogs or walkers - this is our local beach and we are rate payers and carers of the foreshore.

There are not enough places where dogs are welcome and this is a lovely community area where dog owners can feel safe and secure taking their pets. There are plenty of beaches for families to use along the Peninsula, please leave this one for our furry friends to enjoy!

Unbelievable that the Racv caravan park which is only open part of the year gets a say in how the beach is to be used by local rate payers and their dogs

our dogs need to have at least one beach that they can freely access during the day.

There is plenty of other beaches you can go where there is no dogs. Leave the beach leash free.

My beautiful best mate and I go to this beach all year round. He loves the socialising but loves swimming the most. In summer I can't walk him around our neighbourhood because he'll get burnt paws, this beach is our best option and we love it.

This is great for people to take their dogs for a walk along the beach. I've seen this happening at other beaches, so please don't take it away from beaches that allow it!!

Dogs need to be cooled down as well as humans. I don't have a dog at the moment but love going to Blairgowrie beach and seeing dogs and owners cooling off and having fun. Save our doggy beaches

There are so many 'people' beaches and so few 'dog' beaches please don't restrict it any more than it already is.

I cannot believe that campers are more important than the locals. This leash free dog beach is the only place for dogs and it's owners to enjoy themselves together. For so many old people with dogs this is the place to come together and avoid isolation. Other countries acknowledge dogs as part of the family so these that don't live around beaches have plenty other options to take the dogs to. This beach is the only real option to stimulate our dogs. We need that beach which is not even a nice beach to be if you don't have a dog.

Please dont take this away from us we abide by the doggie rules there is no reason to why dogs should be banned if everyone does this. Dogs should be able to enjoy the beach as well.

there are so few beaches across the 100km stretch of the morning ton peninsula that allow dogs, let alone off leash during daylight savings - this is critical to happy and healthy dogs
