As we all know - Commander Mike Harris position with Jarrettsville Young Marines is being challenged by a group of former staff members. These members have called for a special election to remove Mike from this position. In addition, some of these same staff members have resorted to illegal tactics in order to force Mike to resign his post. We as parents of current Young Marines support the leadership that Mike Harris has provided and feel that the special election is unnecessary given the behavior of these former members and should not be held and that Mike Harris be allowed to continue as Commander of the Jarrettsville Young Marines.
