Don't amend SBS Transit Bus Service 76

It is my grown up service since young and recognized me as the only way to Marine Parade from my door step. Now i am having problem to Marina Parade if this service amendment,

Pelase leave 76 to be because dispite MRT, Bus sometimes could be always faster too.

This amendment removes my direct link from Marine Terrace to NEX Shopping Centre! Boo to this amendment!

The original route has been around for years. We cannot possibly just amend the route for the convenience of a few.

Please leave 76 to be

Firstly, a direct connection between Ang Mo Kio and Marine Parade will be lost. This results in commuters having to hassle to board another service just to get to Marine Parade. Secondly, there isn't a need for an amendment to Eunos. Commuters can save the hassle to go to Eunos by using other alternatives such as Service 25 or taking Service 22 before transferring to Service 28 or 93. There is no need for a duplicate service when two of such services between the same towns exist. Thirdly, Eunos Bus Interchange will be even much more hectic. With two services being pulled into Eunos, parking lots for the other bus services will lessen and might cause a huge jam like what happened to the new Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange. These are just my opinions, do look into it. Thanks and have a good day ahead!

Despite we now have many transport connection nodes such as MRT and new bus services, I find that such amendments like this is not necessary. Please be sure to revert it back, for the convenience of all.

Useless and pointless amendment which can be avoided with the tightening of the currently loose schedules of Service 76 to ensure better reliability.

Keep the original svc 76 too

Useless and pointless amendments, adding another service which goes through the same route? Trying to trick people to fare face charges huh..

With the amendment of Service 76 to Eunos Bus Interchange, residents living along Ang Mo Kio Avenues 9, 4 and 3 would lose direct connectivity to Marine Parade.

Now bus planners, I know that your bus drivers welfare is important and they need good toilet breaks, but if you really need to break the loop at least you need one service to service Marine Parade! Maybe a varient or route extension would help?

My direct link from school to Marine Parade will be lost due to this amendment! There is already service 24 from Boundary Road all the way to Eunos! Another parallel service is not needed!

With the shortern of route 76, resident cannot go Marine Parade directly.

Pointless amendment

There is no use of amending it when there are many other services from AMK to Eunos! I want my direct AMK To Marine Parade link back!

Service 76 serves a lot of residents and key amenities, and serves as the only connection for most from one place to another. I would suggest amending other services such as 25,55 or 854 which share similar sections of the route and share the same markets.
