76 has provided much connectivity with its normal route. By amending it to terminate at Eunos, more time is wasted transferring buses. Also, based on personal observation, Eunos bus interchange has just enough parking space during peak hours, by adding another service, wouldn't it be more congested at the interchange, causing drivers to have the urge to reach earlier to get a lot. This disrupts bus services and adding more buses will not solve the issue. The possible problem stated above can be seen daily at Hougang Central Interchange where 4 new services, 53M, 102, 116 and 324 was added. Also, if bus services are to cater to demand and driver feedback, why not extend the current 76 to Upp East Coast Terminal where there is a quieter surrounding.

I believe what the people did for this route amendment is good as it will increase the overall reliability of Service 76. Furthermore, it will only add up to at the VERY most 15 mins of the total travelling time due to transfers at Paya Lebar MRT Station.
The bus captain can now have sufficient rest time with this amendment. With a slight inconvenience to us, the well being of the bus captains is being taken care of. Being a bus captain is not easy and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the bus captain in Singapore and hope everyone will be more appreciative in life.

From what we knew that we had been taking this bus routes 76 to marine parade and it had served us from head to toe and I hope that it really had benefits all the residents around us. If LTA want to improves the residents. Please reconsider your decision and continue to let but route 76 to serve us

I'm glad that this issue is rasied before service 76 route amendment starts this sunday
Otherwise complains can be expected by public when they realise service 43/135 is more crowded than usual

I take this bus 76 from my house in Marine Terrace to Yio Chu Kang Road where I work. Many other residents in Marine Terrace take 76 to areas beyond Paya Lebar MRT also. LTA should not tamper with a service that many people rely on as a direct route.

My son and I takes this bus frequently, shuttling between AMK and PP. Ending this service 76 would cause much inconvenience.

This movement is uncalled for! It has been an efficient and convenient route for people travelling from Yio Chu Kang -> Serangoon -> Lorong Ah Soo -> MacPherson -> Paya Lebar -> Katong -> Marine Parade.
Replacing it with 2 buses will make the road even more congested and costly! I am so against this!
