Local kids only have this option for a school, kids that would be recruited have so many.

This is too important to the local people
Please find other ways to increase dorm too occupancy
Please stop the elimination of our beloved sports programs and please stop recruiting kids that will displace the current kids who have put in their time to earn spots on the varsity teams

Please stay in the CIAC, you MUDT keep gymnastics, cheerleading and unified sports teams. Keep the local students playing teams locally with shorter commuting times and a bigger fan base which is so important for high school athletes.

It is in the best interest of the students in the sending towns to remain a member of CIAC. Please do make the change to NEPSAC.

Gymnastics was one of my highlights of high school and one of the few sports the academy is good at. Don't ruin chances for students to have a good high school experience.

As a 1966 graduate, sports and academics in PUBLIC school creates a well-rounded student. WA has the unique ability to coordinate the best in public school with some attributes of private school—be wise in carefully embracing both.

This shouldn't be about the money, it should be about the students. When I was at WA I took AP and ECE courses WHILE playing sports, and my grades never suffered for it. I was also battling severe depression and being on a team each season was one of my few positive outlets and I know I was not the only one. Restructuring the school like this, especially cutting certain athletic programs, is going to have a huge negative impact on the mental health of WA students.

Woodstock Academy is the only public high school accessible to Woodstock and most of its sending towns - sports should be made accessible to public school students, and this accessibility will be undermined by moving to NEPSAC
