As someone with health issues, I rely on my car for trave and independencel. Closing the bridge to cars will significantly impact my time and fuel costs (and associated pollution)

I use this route every day to get to Worle station art 8am. this will add at least 30 mins to my journey, as I would have to join the rush hour traffic, leaving WSM. Please don't close it.

I use this road regularly and don't think it needs to be wider, and definitely not closed to cars.

Important thoroughfare for folks from Loxton, Christon, Winscombe and beyond, as well as Banwell.

As a resident of riverside, and seeing the increase traffic, blocking of driveways and speed of cars racing down all hours, I am totally against the closure of wolvershill.

This not a rat run. The closure of the bridge would greatly inconvenience people from the east going west and north. There was a route prior to the M5 hence the bridge was built to prevent the inconvenience this would now create

Traffic will be appalling along the A370. Locking Village has recently become difficult to enter and exit, and this proposed closure, along with the amount of new builds in the pipeline, will make this so much worse!

Total lack of foresight on the part of North Somerset Council planners. This not only cuts Banwell off from it's nearest shopping centre in Worle it also cuts off Christon, Loxton, Sandford, Winscombe, Churchill and Axbridge/ Cheddar.
What's even more idiotic is building a bridge over a single track road which is already on Sat Nav's " shortest most direct route to A38 from the motorway", which should be made a no through road, and save money.

Since the closure of Wolvershill road the traffic has been horrendous. It is ludicrous to permanently close this road which is a direct route for the village of Banwell to get to Worle and to the M5, not to mention a road that has established businesses on. They have been, and will continue to be, significantly impacted to point of closure. It is wreck-less and ill thought out.

Ridiculous idea, will cause hardship to many people who use this bridge on a regular basis. No logical reason at all for closure.

It is very worrying that there are people working in the Council that can come up with these crazy schemes!

Cutting off direct access to Worle, where there are multiple good public transport links, supermarkets and access to J21, is madness. Sending traffic onto narrow country roads, into Weston or through the villages, is clearly not based on the needs of the people who live here in Banwell or the surrounding area.

Potential traffic chaos on Church Road and Riverside if the Wolvershill Road to Worle and the motorway is closed to traffic
