We had a similar supplier to that proposed in the past. Wimbledon Village sports is a MUCH better option.

In addition, changing the skirt manufacturer to Winterbottom has resulted in a much shorter skirt in a summery, flimsy fabric. The new skirts are very disappointing.

Not the kind of message to give our young people. It is imperitive that they value keeping independent retailers in business. It is sweeping,out of the blue moves like this that can close a business.Who knows what Village Sports balance sheets look like? Perhaps WHS business is significant enough to them to cause problems

Village Sports have always been great. I don't think online access is very useful as the children generally need to try things on. And Village Sports were always happy to post things that don't need trying (e.g. swimming caps). Much handier to use a local shop with the personal touch.

A uniform shop within walking distance or a short drive or bus journey from the school, great service and a new website to order from. Why change? The local small business should at least be able to pitch for the account :(

Village Sports have provided excellent service to Wimbledon High School for many years. They have put themselves out to assist both parents and the school. Lizzie has helped, advised and researched whenever changes of style were required. She has supported the WHSA. Furthermore, this is a small local supplier who provide a quality service close to the school. We should support our local businesses and think of the convenience to parents and pupils. There is also an issue of carbon footprint. But most of all of loyalty for an excellent job well done over many years at very affordable prices.

Village Sports have always been incredibly helpful, with excellent personal service. They took the stress out of sorting out the uniform for my first child to go to secondary school.

There's no logical reason for moving it and they didn't consult the students

Village Sports have provided friendly and efficient service during the 13 years that my two daughters have been at WHS. What a shame it would be to replace them with the services from a large, impersonal supplier with no direct or meaningful connection to WHS. This is one example where small and local works and and we should support them wholeheartedly.

Village Sports provides an invaluable service not only as a supplier but as an employer of WHS girls! Village Sports has given many WHS girls their first experience of paid work,and continues to provide opportunities for these girls throughout school and uni. Lizzie and Paddy are wonderful mentors!
