Bring Mrs.Townsend back! She's a great teacher!

Mrs. Townsend was by far my favorite teacher during high school. She didn't make learning seem like a chore. She always made everything so fun. She was always there whenever I needed anything

Mrs. Townsend was one of my favorite teachers during my time at Parkway West. She truly cares about her students which is a rare find these days. With her husband as my tennis coach, she spent many days taking pictures to remember our moments on the court. She is an incredible person. Bring Mrs. Townsend back!

She is one of the best teachers our grandsons have ever had.

I don't know what happened, but Mrs. Townsend is an excellent teacher that really invests in the lives of the kids at West. Whetever the situation, she should be given the benefit of the doubt and shown grace.

Mrs. Townsend was my favorite teacher ever! She believed in me when other teachers didn't. She is the Parkways best teacher! That's a fact!

Valerie Townsend is the only teacher at that school that is worth standing up for. Her presence is invaluable.

What Mrs Townsend has done for kids goes so far above and beyond her job discription. She changes lives for the better! She not only teaches yo every level of learner, she also manages to connect with her students in a way that breeds trust and friendship. We need to be filling West with teachers like her, not removing them.

By far the best teacher I had at Parkway West in my 2 years of being there. One of the few teachers that cares about her students to a level that she can teach them what she needs to teach but also connect with them at a personal level. Truly a fantastic teacher that deserves to be in the classroom.

Mrs. Townsend was a huge influence on me. She made the tough things seem fun and she always encouraged me to do whatever I wanted. I was so excited to share with her that I got into the college that I wanted. I learned of this school because of an assignment that she gave. I looked forward to walking back into West and telling her of how I've grown. She's an amazing teacher and she has the passion and the ability to grow young people. West High won't be the same without her. Bring back Mrs. Townsend.

I had Mrs. T for 2 years at West. What my knowledge is of English and grammar now is all thanks to her. She is a wonderful teacher every student would benefit from being taught by her

Mrs. T has been such an incredible asset to the Parkway West community. She was the only teacher I've remained in contact with throughout my undergrad and graduate career and have gone back to visit and catchup with multiple times. Through her class, she taught me the value of hard work in addition to many life lessons that cannot simply be learned from a book. It deeply saddens me that future Parkway West students will not have the opportunity to grow and learn from such an influential woman as many of my peers and I have.

Mrs. Townsend is the absolute best. She is one of the few that will genuinely sit down and take the time to understand what is going on with her students and work with them far beyond what is expected of her. She got me through a lot and is truly one of the best staff members at that school. This is saddening.

You are a wonderful, energetic, and passionate teacher.

Please bring her back, such a talented teacher!
