As you all should be aware, there would not be a Disney film division without the creative genius that was Walt Disney, indeed you would all be employed elsewhere. Many years have past since we lost him, but there will never be a time for those of us who love and admire our Uncle Walt, that we will be ready for his name to be removed from his company. I know that you have reasons for your decision. But we can't help wondering if you have taken into consideration just how many people love Walt Disney worldwide. We ask that you consider very carefully the impact such negative publicity could create once the word starts to spread around the world, and begins to be widely reported. 1.Patricia Block
The current volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the studio relations office. I am finalizing the briefing documents to ensure our position on the naming convention is presented clearly during this session.

Yes keep Walt's full name in the film division. I've always liked it better as Walt Disney Pictures!
