Why take the main campus elsewhere when it has shown great growth and success where it is? It is a vital part of the town of Wadley and the surrounding towns as well. I transferred to Auburn University from Southern Union State Community College in Wadley in 1972. It played a vital role in my education and of many of my friends and relatives. Please do not move the main campus.

Keep Sothern Union’s main campus in Wadley, Al. This college has done great! It has grown over the years to what it is today with 3 campuses! Wadley campus serves several counties. The population of the town has nothing to do with how many students attend this college, when it serves many students from many towns in the area. Why would you even think of changing the main campus somewhere else? The main campus IS the Wadley campus and should stay that way!

Wadley needs the income from this campus. We don’t make a lot of money in this part of the county and we can’t afford the gas to go Barack and forth to Opelika.

The Southern Union campus in Wadley has long been known as a place where students from the surrounding area could get a good start on their higher education.
The Wadley faculty and staff have always worked to make this a school of excellence.
The Wadley location should remain the main campus.
