A policy change was enacted at the last board meeting, and that is forcing Mr. Hendrickson out of Volney. This page in made to try to get the parents, and kids together to try to keep him at Volney. Also, the principal at Lanigan, Robert Briggs was supposed to switch with Jeff Hendrickson. Mr. Briggs decided to resign instead. I believe he did this to stand up to the board. Instead of the board admitting their mistake, they accepted his resignation. Now, Mr. Briggs is mandated to work at Volney for 30 days. After that Volney will have temporary principals until the board can fill the position. The kids at Volney love their principal. They look forward to going to school. The parents were not informed of the change until the board had voted on it. We need a voice, and we need the principals at their rightful schools. Save our principals.
