Hello one and all. Recently, it has to come to my attention that Twitter has announced its impending shut down of Vine. As a fellow Vine user and creator, I feel like this is an abomination to another form of artistic expression. I have made friends through vine, have found music through vine, and have expanded my knowledge on the art of filmmaking through this wonderful app, and truly I cannot stand to let it go. This petition is to keep Vine alive, allowing millions of users to further their growth within a public platform. Twitter, why? Please sign and help continue a legend for the new age.

I really cannot stop thinking about all the six second clips disappearing into thin air and honestly it feels like losing a whole scrapbook of memories that we built together. My inbox has been completely full of people sharing their favorite creators and nostalgic loops which just proves how much this space actually meant to all of us.

I keep refreshing the page and my eyes are literally popping out of my head because the wave of support here is just completely beyond what I imagined possible. This is honestly so surreal and it makes me feel like maybe we actually have a shot at keeping those loops alive if we just keep this energy moving forward.

Vine needs to stay. Our young generation needs this avenue to express them selves and what they are passionate about.

I need this app, it lets me watch others creative vids, fandom vids etc. I'll be really disappointed if I have spent my years liking and revining for all my account to be deleted.
