Only purchased a Hammer S a few months ago and love it. I have plenty of bike riding mates that are considering a Victory and get closer to a purchase each time the see mine.

HUGE MISTAKE BY POLARIS !!! If you ve rode an Indian it feels like a Harley. That feel of sitting "on" compared to sitting "in" the bike is what made Victory what it is today.

Stopping production on a quality product that was still selling and had has recent gains, just because it was behind sales with compared to Harley? At least our Victory Bikes could be ridden and not spend so much time in the garage! This is insanity. How can you expect your customers to transition to Indian without being scared you will pull the rug out from under them again? You cant expect loyalty from customers if you don't return it!

I rode a Victory after owning and riding Harley s for years . At that point I was sold . There is no way you can go bankrupt by continuing a brand that sold more baggers than HD in recent years . All I can say is I will never and i do mean never buy polaris again in any form if they do this. Indian had its day and failed if you are going to drop a brand drop the one that dropped itself years ago and stand by your originality that made people want the new American Made Bike.
