dropping such an intuitive, easy and professional grade audio/video editor does not make sense.

I've been a long time Vegas Pro user. I've upgraded numerous times. If Vegas Pro dies, Sony will loose a customer.

I have been a Vegas user for 15 years and I just love the software. It would be a shame to see it go away.

Please continue development of Vegas Movie Studio. Since Pinnacle Studio v15, I have not found another suitable editor.

I am literate in Avid, Premiere, FCPX, Hitfilm. Sony Vegas and Catalyst. Of these, Vegas is the only one I actually enjoy working in, and that enables me to complete my projects in a timely fashion. Honestly, Vegas dying--I'd probably walk away from the video business because I am four to six times faster in Vegas than any other NLE. Time is money, and, if I have to basically take a pay cut to use other software, well, I'd rather move to a new industry. Freelance video is already crap pay

I have been using Sony Products since they bought out Sonic Foundry. I use Vegas daily and really don't want to have to relearn another NLE that is NOT as user friendly as Vegas. Sony, get with the program and let us know what you are doing and keep Vegas alive. Also, maybe get your head out of you ass and not go to a subscription service as well... Have loved your products for decades, don't blow it now!!
