Allow our boys to play tackle football. It is well past time for our city to fully open up and return to normal conditions. The coaches of VA Beach football do a phenomenal job teaching our young sons and these boys love competing on Saturday mornings.

I played VB city league football as a kid in late 60's early 70's. My sons have played. Great experience for all of us. Don't cancel, it is something worth continuing

I've lived in Va Beach since 1987, I played City Athletics, my brother played, my oldest son played, and now you (the City) are going to cheat my youngest and my Nephew out of a chance to experience Youth City Athletics unless it's continued to be funded. As a long-time taxpayer, if the decision is to cancel City Athletics, I want each of you to lose your positions in City Government and I want my City taxes back!

Youth Football has been a huge impact on my sons life. It has taught him leadership, endurance, how to be apart of a team. When the pandemic happen and all sports were shut down it truly impacted him. I feel it is important that we all Including the City recognizes how important these programs are to these children!

I have been involved in the city rec tackle league as both a parent , coach and commissioner. It is amazing how it has helped teach life lessons for our young men and women and mold them into responsible young adults.
