Give me the choice to whether I want to have access to wholesome, nutrient rich foods Vs the crap that farms are forced to produce.

People who consume raw milk products are generally health-conscious and research informed. If the government would like to protect the Nation's health their energy should go on catalysing change in the processed food industry. Return to simple...

One can buy alcohol, cigarettes and drugs (as pharmaceutical products) easily and legally, although they all have known and as for the first two serious, even deadly side effects.
As long as hygiene standards are high and animals are provided with a natural, organic diet organic raw milk is good for you, unlike the above mentioned substances. So why can we not make up our own mind about purchasing something wholesome freshly and knowing where it comes from? That is much more than we can say for most of the unnatural, pasteurised, homogenised white liquids full of puss and antibiotics sold in most shops! I would say the "normal" "milk" from the supermarkets are a health-hazard and should come with warnings more so than the raw variety.
Leave our freedom of choice for us.

The FSA are here to protect people from harmful food. There's no proof that raw milk is harmful, so there's absolutely no reason for the FSA to be involved at all.

Yes, please, keep the raw milk available to all who want some. It is imperative to my health, and that of many.

What study proves pasteurising milk makes it safer?

I've seen no compelling evidence to convince me that raw milk, a natural product, is any more dangerous than any other natural product, e.g., seafood, and, in deed, is probably a lot safer than most industrialised products.

We should be free to choose what we buy and from whom. Nanny state controls are detrimental to the nations and create zombie populations who are not allowed to think for themselves and make their own decisions. In addition, current quality and standards of health hygiene and associated monitoring systems have, in my opinion, already proved current restrictions are totally unnecessary. In my opinion, healthy components of raw milk provide substantial benefits and lower level of risk than pasteurised milk

Raw milk should be available in Scotland.
The customer should be the one who choses whether they want raw or pasturised milk, NOT the government.

Raw milk is as it should be, wholesome.
Not pasturised - killing beneficial organisms as well as pathogens; degrading the fat soluable vitamins. And then standardisation and homoginisation, both techniques which remove the milk from any definition of fresh and whole.
We drank raw milk, dipped straight from the tank in France for 10 years, our children knew nothing else; all are very healthy and fit.
LET US CHOOSE.
Control of the milk supply, as far as I can see, benefits only the milk processors and power companies (milk processing uses a suprisingly large ammount of energy).

I can go and buy a packet of cigarettes, which cause definite harm to both others and myself, but people are trying to stop me buying raw milk. This has to be one of the stupidest wastes of public money amongst so many other pieces of hypocritical nanny state legislation.
