Bring back non-homogenised milk and educate yourself on the damage pasteurisation does to all foods - pasteurisation is not always necessary.... The book 'Bechamp or Pasteur?: A Lost Chapter in the History of Biology' by Ethel D. Hume is excellent....

On the recommendation of a nutrionist I have used unpasteurised milk to help boost my immunity. I had a bone marrow transplant 5 years ago and immunity to infection is a problem for people with compromised immune systems like me. Without unpasteurised milk I do not believe my new immune system would be as strong as it is today.

Please give us the freedom of choice, as long as there are regularly performed safety tests I cannot see where the problem us. As a mother of achild that cannot digest ppasteurised milk I beg the government to leave raw milk alone

Bring back real milk, we've had enough of the denatured stuff on our supermarket shelves. It shouldn't have to be so hard to find real food in this country. From realmilk.com: 'Pasteurization destroys enzymes, diminishes vitamin content, denatures fragile milk proteins, destroys vitamins C, B12 and B6, kills beneficial bacteria, promotes pathogens and is associated with allergies, increased tooth decay, colic in infants, growth problems in children, osteoporosis, arthritis, heart disease and cancer.' We want real milk!!!

I have drunk raw milk all my life. Now aged 80 I deeply resent being surrounded by highly dangerous junk food shops on every street yet having to cycle 12 miles each month to stock up with raw milk from the Farmers' Market ."It is 'elf 'n safty" gone mad.

I would really like to be able to buy raw milk locally. I think people should be able to make up their own minds about this.

The laws surrounding the sale of raw milk seems outdated. The pros hugely outweigh the cons.

I want the government to recognize the growing demand for raw milk in the uk. The rules on sales of raw milk are incredibly strict making it hard to buy. The rules should be relaxed to allow wider sales which would support UK farmers. Most importantly it would give people the right to make an informed choice about the milk they buy.

Wish I could choose here in Scotland. I believe in the properties of high quality raw milk.

We are being prevented from living healthy lives by companies and corporations that remove or destroy the nutrients in our food and drink. I want to be able to buy good quality healthy milk from my local shop.

Food freedom! If I can choose to buy cigarettes and alcohol then I can choose to buy and consume one of nature's greatest gifts.

It should be a consumer choice if they want natural produce, or produce that has been tampered with.
