At some point in time, as your article on the bread points out we will have to quite literally go back to basics, unpasteurised milk, franken free wheat etc. Think about this, if the cows are eating this wheat etc in their feed, then we are eating this stuff which ever way we choose.

I was brought up on raw milk and drank it regularly until the 1980s when, in Scotland, it was banned for some spurious reasons which could not be substantiated.

We need more suppliers of unpasturised milk and cream nationally. Personally, we enjoy raw milk from Manor farm in Brimmington Chesterfield, but have recently lost our supply of unpasturised cream in Shepshed Leicester. if anyone knows a supplier of cream, please e-mail me

please allow unpasteurised milk then people will have a alternative fair choice what to buy.
