Its all about quantifiable regulation of the food production industry and allowing the consumer to choose a safe natural product.

any child can buy a mars bar while an adult can't buy raw milk, in the US they got round the madness by selling raw milk as pet food.

As we see the deteriation of many people's health due to eating and drinking pasteurised and processed foods it is time the FSA looked at, if it wants to ban, banning foods that cause ill health = processed food and pastueurised milk. All the goodness is taken from these foods and milk. People who are trying their best to live healthy lives find it difficult to find healthy foods in supermarkets and quite often can't afford to go to health food shops. Please stop banning unpastureised raw milk, yogurts and cheese. People can then make a choise as to whether they want to buy raw milk or continue to buy the milk that has caused so many problems. I strongly support the campaign to allow the sale of unpasteurised milk in the UK.

Drinking milk has really helped with my IBS and it tastes too delicious to avoid drinking it.
I am a young person, and I feel like the past few governments have deprived the new generations of some of the most nutritious foods and drinks which would have been available to my grandparents. All in the name of making our food safer, healthier? Well that clearly is not the case, it seems purely in order to fuel the drive for convenient, mass- factory produced goods that are cheap and frankly less nutritious and tasteless.
I really do hope something changes and for the better.
I agree.
