Their home, THEIR choice!? With all the other problems in the area the council should be focusing their efforts elsewhere, the couloir of a privately owned home is not a public issue and shouldn't be anyone else' concern but the home owner, unless causing risk to the public which a lick of paint obviously does not!

I think it is shocking what the council are doing. These people own their house and can do what they like with it. I personally like it yellow. Cheers the place up.. The council should be paying attention b all the other things that need attending to in this town. Live and let live. Good luck.

The owners should have the right to paint the colour they want theyre not changing the actual building only the colour!!the council wouldnt be sayiin this if it was painted magnolia would they??the folk that own it are doing the right thing an standing up for theyre rights!!No bullys allowed here an will bot be victimised by anyone never mind a governoring body!!

Love the yellow hoose. Its their house,they have paid council tax, let them keep it yellow. Council should be ashamed-nothing better to do? I can forward a list of rather more pending issues.

Inverclyde needs more colour-look at Tobermory whose coloured buildings are a tourist attraction. Let the yellow house stay yellow.
