The InfoShop is a valuable, public-facing resource for the Bank. It brings together in an open and transparent space the breadth of WBG knowledge and makes it accessible to not only Bank staff, or visitors to the Bank, but to the wider public. And it was recently recognized as one of the best bookstores in the entire city (http://legacy.washingtoncitypaper.com/bestofdc/artsandentertainment/2014/best-downtown-book-store). I strongly support preserving this resource.

We do need a 'touch and feel" zone to interact and showcase to the public what we are doing. Today, the InfoShop sort of serves that purpose. (think of the Visitor center of the Gates Foundation in Seattle- where people can tanglible touch, see and read about what GF is doing, Its incredibly inspiring and far better than dry reports. zzz.)
We should be doing more not take away what limited touch and feel point we have.

I frequently use this bookstore & enjoy the fact that we have a World Bank bookstore.
