This is important PR and source of information/resources for all staff. Unless you propose to replace it with free bookshop for staff only, you definitely should not be closing it!

This is a wonderful resource for the globally-minded reader. I would hate to see such a great resource close down its brick and mortar location.

It would be more justified for Disneyland to close than for this bookstore to shut its doors. Management, please tell us what it will take to pull you back from the cliff. We can all stand to read a little more.

Infoshop should stay open, it is a great PR tool for the bank and is actually one of the few departments that is able to cover its operational costs.

I love the info shop. It is sea of serenity amid the business of this business district. Great books/ nice lounge area and a place to relax and read and actually shop instead of doing it online.

I was sorry to see the IMF bookstore close - the InfoShop is a critical part of downtown DC's cultural fabric.

The Infoshop is an unique source of materials and books on development. Its loss would mean an impoverishment of available resources on key aspects of development. Surely management could identify savings elsewhere! Finally, the Infoshop offers access to WB research in economics, health etc and, as such, provides the general public with greater knowledge and information on the mission of the WB.

The World Bank is publicly funded and has a responsibility to make it's information accessible; a brick and mortar shop is a much better way to engage people than pdf downloads, and the WB can certainly afford the rent.
