By buying a house in a city we agree to communal living. We also need to understand that noise is a part of living in a city. Let the children and teens enjoy what was created for them in their own neighborhoods!

If this is removed the closest basketball nets will be in West Haven behind the school. Having the nets and playground behind the school and so far away from any residences is a poor design. Having frequented this playground many times over the years, I've seen first hand the poor behavior that takes place. As a result my son is not allowed to play there after school. So, I'd prefer that the basketball nets in Windrose do not get closed and if it bothers the residents, I'd be more than happy to support having them moved into my neighborhood, Suntree, and at the vacant park along Spruce Boulevard and Sheridan Way.

Our kids play basketball and play their with friends. There are not many courts and things for kids to do in Leduc. Removing them for a few peoples personal convenience would further impact that and the overall community.

Why would we remove an outdoor activity that has been paid for & exists already and is free to use for all ages??? Leduc should be supporting wellness and outdoor activities.

The park and all its facilities are for public use and should remain that way.

Why would it be taken down!? Does not make sense. kids love it and use a lot. Gets the kids outside! It’s a great thing!!! If someone who lives there doesn’t like they knew they where backing onto a green belt and there would be people! Should not have bought there then.

My family lives across the street from them and we have use the basketball courts. We have seen many families, groups and individuals use these courts frequently. There may be foul language on the court, although I have not heard it, not saying they don't, but I think people are missing the point...The City of Leduc has always encourage the out door experience, to enjoy our many outdoor spaces, being active in your own neighborhood and now they want to remove something that is used by many ages and groups. This pad is not only used for basketball, people use it to help their children ride their bikes, they use it for playing tag, maybe a little street hockey and some personal exercise training. I would say that I will be ashamed at the decision of City if they remove this area. Need i also mention that this is probably not the time to do such a thing, as many people are out of work struggling to keep ahead and they will be willing to spend tens thousands dollars to remove the basketball court.

This is a very popular spot for kids in the neighbourhood to get out and get active. Don’t take this away from them.

In a community that proposes “active living” this is against everything it stands for. This is one of our childrens healthy outlets to be with friends and stay active. More importantly now then ever before.
Keep the basketball nets
Keep them
