This pub was our local social history, (Unfortunately left to be run down!) It has been there, for hundreds of years. It used to have a drinking trough outside, for when the cattle were taken through to Romford Market. A meeting place of many who have lived in Chadwell Heath, all their lives, the Garden was always Beautiful and has been since I can remember and went with my aunt and uncle as a child. Over the years, its had animals, It should be a listed building, as with the stable block, to the side (which used to be a Taxi Office) and preserved as a Public House and not demolished for another lot of flats. Too many Old buildings are being demolished, for so called progress. But how long will they stand, Not that length of time! Please think on it again, It could be made into such a Beautiful Old Building, once again, a Historical, Social place to go, with the right people, running it!

I am a resident in Chadwell Heath & The White Horse is a huge part of our social history. Sadly! The last miserable Landlady destroyed the pub not the customers that have been served for most of their lives. Please do not do anything stupid with this fabulous building & garden. "Here's hoping!"

This pub is part of our local heritage it should stay that way, it's been my local pub over 18 years, heart breaking to see it closed.

Lovely pub, shame to see this one close after so many in the same area, Hinds Head, Coopers Arm, Bighand Mo's (or whatever it was called last)
