I was so proud to have my name put on that wall. To destroy them is wrong on many levels.

I love seeing the murals on the walls and so do my 3 children. It lifts their moods when they start their day of learning.

They give character and tell a story of history throughout the school. It'd be a shame to have them covered up. It was always so exciting getting to pick out your drawing in grade eight.

Feels so wrong to cover them. Love Joey's offer to do a little touch up on them

A great part of the heart and history of our school which should not be covered up.a stark reminder of the happy times and friendships shared by all who attended school in mt stewart

Never went to the school ,but I do understand why people would be upset .not to mention I have two children one there, and one in high school. so one has already started her history .I feel maybe it would be best to freshen them up

Murals were a big part of everyone's Gr.8 year, every class was unique from the last and lots of fun and memories were made each and every yr! I have brought my kids to the school to show them a few years ago and they thought it was so amazing! Save the Murals!!

That's a big part of the schools history. You always looked forward to getting up to grade 7 and 8 so you could leave a piece of yourself on the wall. I was hoping to get the kids back there to show them what I did in school with my class.
