Fantastic place. Great to bring business to southern Alberta, I visit every year and myself and my family enjoy it every time. Please keep the Stirling Haunted Mansion open!! So sad that some over zealous and self righteous nuts are too stuck up to understand that their definition of fun or a good time does not ring true for others in this vast world.

I love visiting the haunted mansion, if it weren't for this fun attraction I would have no reason to visit the town of Sterling. If the haunted mansion were located in Lethbridge I would be proud of the dedication that the family has invested to make it a fun and unique experience. Sterling should be ashamed of how it has treated it's fellow community members.

Keep it open, that and the swimming pool are the only thing in stirling. Also I'd like to continue bringing my family there.

this is a fantastic family run attraction! They have worked hard to be the best at what they do and bring notice to Stirling and SW Alberta. There is more to this than just Halloween, they do Christmas and spring/summer events as well. It's a very well rounded business that has something for everyone!

So absolutely ridiculous that some "squeaky wheels" in this little hamlet cannot see the economic as well as entertainment value of this unique business. Perhaps these folk need some educational information on some "real" causes they could sink their teeth into; they seem to have way too much time on their hands if this operation is such a huge concern for them!! Get a life people!!

So sorry you two are having to go through this, this is such a travesty and a joke, if you were part of the 'local beliefs' this would be a non-issue. Any new related articles I have seen before this in relationship to your Haunted House and the Town of Stirling have always been seen in a positive light giving good press for both. I don’t understand how if you have been allowed to run for 15 years, the town has provided previous business licenses how they can ask you to shut down, and even being promoted by a town flier.

My daughter and I just celebrated her 16th birthday with the overnight experience at the haunted mansion. The family were absolutely lovely people that opened up their home to us, and made us feel warm and welcome. We even purchased some items from local businesses because we were in town. We would never have been in Stirling at all were it not for the Haunted Mansion. It is a shame that some minor complaints by a few rotten apples can spoil the fun for the whole barrell. Keep the mansion open, it's the only thing Stirling has worth checking out!

The point here is- We HAD been given the proper licence, THEY kept no records.They are doing this same thing to other residents here as well, all thanks to poor records or different requirements 10, 20, 30 years ago. People are leaving this place and leaving this crappy treatment behind.We are not looking for a free ride, we ALL want whats right. It is not right to be treated this way.

I was in Edmonton last week and was asked where i was from .They never have heard of Magrath but wondered if it was anywhere near where that cool haunted house was....I think some people are gonna mess a good thing up.
