The Grande Finale that is out on for Southshore Water frolics is a tradition that should NOT be eliminated.

I've grown up going to the frolics every year, and I keep that tradition with my children. It would be a shame to lose the south shore frolics. We've already had to deal with the elimination of the great circus parade. One of my favorites.

The fireworks have been there for years, including "blow up the beach"- it's only one weekend a year and tradition trumps one weekends inconveniences...

South shore fireworks are the best I have seen in a very long time. It brings our family together for a fun day of music, food and vendors of many. once the fire works starts they are so beautiful and very safe how they have the beach fenced off. You take fireworks away you take frolics away. Please change your mind and let us continue a tradition since I was a child going.

Been blowing up the beach since I was little. Don't think "one" weekend a year will hurt anyone. Lived 1 block from park and my house is still standing and my dog survived. "BLOW UP THE BEACH"

Leave a great festival alone, Everyone enjoys seeing their loved ones once a year, because you are guaranteed to see everyone there, if you go out once a year, it's because " the frolics are this weekend", go stop a crime, not a economy boosting, local business boosting blast...

Save the fireworks and blowing up the beach. Living here it has been our family tradition to enjoy this weekend and now enjoy with grandchildren. Five generation history living here
