It is a sad state of affairs when an alderman is unable to see the big picture this event brings to the community and state.

It has been part of Bayview for many, many years and I feel it should continue with the fireworks . I am a resident of Bayview for 68 years

I agree. Keep the original fireworks esp the blow up the beach part...It's been like that for years and it's a tradition...ppl that live near need ta stop whining like babies cause it's to loud. It's 3 days a year, plus it's on the weekends... If people didn't want to have a disturbance they should of moved somewhere else!! That's the only reason why we go ta see the blow up the beach part!!

Keep the fireworks. I have been enjoying the Frolics since I was about 12 years old. That was when they were called the Southshore Water Frolics. It is a place that has something for everyone. Great food, musice and a place to bring the kids. We need to keep the Grand Finale as part of it.

My family has been going for years and we always love them, it's only for a weekend I don't understand why people can't just go away or for the whole half hour go somewhere else if they don't like it.

South Shore Frolics are a all time tradition, that my family and many, many families look forward to every year. It would be a shame to eliminate, or even cut out some of the Fireworks!! It's a tradition I am hoping to pass down to my kids and they will be able to pass down to their kids someday!! It would not be the same without the South Shore Frolics Fireworks including Grand Finale!! Thank you

Leave traditions alone! Just because if a few grumpy people, everyone else has to lose a fun family time. That's just not right!

Been going for over 30 years... The past 13 we usually watch the parade which has been cancelled, then cookout with family and friends.about 20-25 people. Then about 5 we would head down to listen to the music ,eat and drink..Run into old friends.. This year we didn't even bother... Really sucks that after 60 years they decide to get rid of parade and then take away part of the best fireworks around

The Frolics just wouldn't be the same without the explosion and giant wave of heat at the end. Keep every last bit, and if anything make it bigger/

This is one of my favorite events in Milwaukee! It makes me appreciate the area soooo much more each time! The fireworks top it all off! :)
